Review by The Watcher

Dawn Penn's latest album, Growing Up Be Gone, showcases her versatility and vocal range. The album is a mix of reggae, ska, and soul, and each track has its own unique sound and feel.

The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "I Can See Clearly Now," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Penn's vocals are strong and confident, and she effortlessly blends different genres to create a sound that is both fresh and nostalgic.

One standout track is "You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)," a classic reggae tune that Penn reimagines with a soulful twist. Her vocals are emotive and powerful, and the track is sure to get listeners moving.

Another highlight is "Never Let Me Go," a slow-burning ballad that showcases Penn's ability to convey emotion through her vocals. The track is haunting and beautiful, and it's sure to leave a lasting impression on listeners.

Dawn Penn should have been letting of this style of music from long time it’s the second track that I have heard from her recently that I am feeling. I just love this style that she is working with; I have to share, because she got my full attention. Just played it three times in a row so far.
