What a genius he is. still listening in 2020
#121 to "Like" this.
A "Nobody [Doesn't] Like Sad Songs;" that explains the thumbs-down.
..."Cowboys AND Clowns..."
Dody, do you like Ronnie's sad songs, or, his happy 1's! God bless you. Hugs to you. Dave.
You're probably thinking of "Cowboys a Clowns;" either that or the title track. Ronnie contributed THOSE to the soundtrack and movie.
This my favourite song <3
This song was in the Clint Eastwood movie Bronco Billy. I remember Ronnie Milsap singing it in that.
Thank you, for posting this. I really like it :)
ronnie has such a smooth sounding voice, when im feelin down even though most of his songs are sad that voice of his lifts me up. i have like him sincs i was a kid, im in my 40s now and still luv that voice of his. im a BIG Elvis fan too and luv Ronnie playin in Ky. Rain! Just like Elvis, Ronnie could do lots of different music!

I like sad songs. They are more real than sappy happy songs.
Thank you kindly for uploading this beautiful song... I once had a CD of Ronnie Milsap but I lost it. Thanks to you I can once again listen to this touching song.
wow what a great song has meaning and you can feel the artist as he sing this song makes me think about past loves that I wish never got away. but there gone and for a reason there is a plan out there for me it hasnt come along yet but she will
good sway
You're doing important work by sharing this out-of-print music. This isn't just an obscure artist. This is a hit-making machine. To have so many gaps in his extensive catalogue is criminal.
This song is so perfect and brings tears to my eyes for how cool it used to be and it's all gone now except for great tunes like this.
Bless you both
Roberta flack owned the song killing me softly, Lesley gore owned you don't own me and Mr Ronnie Millsap will forever own this sentimental beautiful song
I heard this song performed at the Winter Dance Party, Clear Lake Iowa this past weekend. All 50s and early 60s music. Incredible annual event.
What movie is playing in the background of this song?
The human voice is so much more beautiful without autotune
I love that song
