Notes
- This is a bootleg release featuring the rare 'Futurist' LP plus four tracks credited as '11 Ovens Demo'.
- The first track on each side is from the Futurist LP, credited here as "Friends Only".
- B2 is erroneously credited as "Dong And Pony Show" on the release.
- Packaged in a clear protective bag in a folded coversheet. The front shows a reprint of the original cover of Futurist.
- At least four vinyl color variants of the bootleg exist: black (this entry - first edition of 385 copies; all colored vinyl copies are later pressings), purple, green, and yellow.
- There are also two cover variations - first pressing is on rough cardboard stock with the coversheet printed on the inside and outside, later pressings are on normal paper with no printings on the inner side.
- 'The Futurist' was originally recorded for La La La Human Steps, Montreal (dance troupe). Both sides are instrumental, not counting a shortwave radio collage interlude on side B. Recorded in Chicago & Angers, 1995.

About Shellac
Shellac are an indie rock band from Chicago, IL, USA. The group was formed in 1992 by vocalist/guitarist Steve Albini and drummer Todd Trainer. Former bassist Camilo Gonzalez sat in on the band's first few rehearsals and recorded one song ("Rambler Song") with them before Bob Weston joined to permanently fill the bass position.
Shellac records and performs infrequently due to their geographic separation (both Albini and Weston live in Chicago while Trainer lives in Minnesota) and the fact that all the members have day jobs (both Albini and Weston are recording engineers while Trainer has managed a warehouse and tended bar). Trainer has also released solo albums under the name and Weston works with .
