The Supremes' album A Go Go is a classic of the 1960s Motown sound. Released in 1966, the album features the group's signature harmonies and catchy melodies, backed by the Funk Brothers' tight rhythm section. The album's lead single, "Love Is Like an Itching in My Heart," is a funky, up-tempo number that showcases Diana Ross's powerful vocals. Other standout tracks include "Put Yourself in My Place," a soulful ballad, and "Shake Me, Wake Me (When It's Over)," a driving dance tune.
